Eric is relatively new to Hillside Aviation, only being here since June of 2006. As a whole, Eric is relatively new to aviation. After many years in the mortgage industry, he finally gave it up to follow his dreams of becoming a pilot. His father was a pilot in the Air Force for 20 years and he always wanted to follow in his foot steps. So, back in 2005, at the ripe age of 28 he left California and moved to Florida to begin his new life as an aviator.

He was determined to achieve his goal and finish flight school as quickly as he could to begin building time for bigger and better things. Well, he began flight school with zero hours in October of 2005, soloed on October 31st 2005 with only 8 hours and had his Private Pilot License on December 7th, 2005. 5 days later, he had his Multi-Engine License. By February of 2006, with a new Instrument rating in hand he was off to fly around the country for the next 2 weeks, building hours to start his commercial flight training. Well, that didn't take long either, as he had both Single and Multi-Engine Commercial Licenses by the end of March 2006. Two more weeks of training and on April 24th, he left Florida as a brand new Certified Flight Instructor.

Currently, Eric is in the process of getting Hillside Aviation's Charter Department up and running, while also flying for a few corporations and flight instructing.
